Truly immerse yourselves into the intricate depths of this mysterious fungus, as an umami-packed experience awaits you from 10 November to 1 December 2023, with Nobu Kuala Lumpur’s all-new Truffle Omakase Menu. This limited-time menu promises an epicurean journey like you have never seen before, with threads of sophistication and finesse densely laced within each bite of this palate-tingling menu.

Crafting this Truffle Omakase Menu has been a culinary delight, where each dish in this collection highlights the wonderful appeal of truffles and demonstrates the remarkable talent of our chef team. I am extremely proud of them for skillfully fusing the artistry of truffles with the essence of Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, truly reflecting our commitment to pushing the boundaries of culinary excellence and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Among the star attractions of this magnificent menu, the Bluefin Tuna Loin Carpaccio takes centre stage, as thinly sliced Bluefin Tuna Loin is adorned with an opulent ensemble of balsamic vinegar and black truffle shavings. This indulgent dish dances on the palate, combining the fresh, oceanic notes of the tuna with the earthy richness of truffles, setting a decadent tone for the entire menu.

Moving on to the mains, the Chilean Sea Bass Truffle Koji Miso is an enchanting creation. The Chilean Sea Bass is oven-baked to tender perfection and then generously coated with an umami-rich Truffle Koji Miso. Topped with hajikami, a touch of spice and freshness adds a delightful contrast, making each bite a revelation.

The pièce de résistance of our Omakase menu is none other than the Wagyu Truffle Jus. This sumptuous masterpiece takes centre stage, delivering an opulent burst of flavour that will leave you in a wealth of flavour; perfectly-grilled A5 Wagyu is paired with a rich Truffle Jus, or “Liquid Gold” in its essence. Marrying the earthy depth of truffle with the succulence of the Wagyu, the jus bathes the tender beef with a richness that is nothing short of enchanting.

It combines truffle mousse and dark chocolate mousse complemented by the refreshing touch of lime shiso jelly and the sweet embrace of blueberry compôte. Its appearance, resembling an animated mushroom, sets the stage for a playful medley of vibrant and unexpected flavours that defy expectations, concluding the meal on a whimsical note.
