Drawing inspiration from the hidden gems of Kampung Baru and the cherished moments shared over meals with loved ones, Azfar will reveal his signature dishes, some of which were featured in his cooking videos and are now brought to life at Nook’s Ramadan Buffet, offering an authentic essence of Nostalgia Kampung Baru.
Azfar, a passionate culinary enthusiast with a massive following, will showcase his signature dish alongside a selection of other mouth-watering specialties:
Azfar’s Sambal Ayam Sos: Azfar’s signature Sambal Ayam Sos, boasting an impressive 467k views on YouTube, takes centre stage, promising a spicy and savoury delight.
Sambal Tempoyak Kalsom: This dish pays homage to Azfar’s grandmother – Nenek Kalsom, showcasing a unique combination of fermented durian, pucuk ubi, and petai. Handed down through generations, this special sambal adds a distinctive and indulgent flavour to the culinary experience.
Ramyeon Goreng Basah: Featuring prominently in one of Azfar’s highly-viewed YouTube videos titled “MAGGI GORENG BASAH RECIK AHHHH BASAH – SMAMSMAT EP7,” which has garnered over 1.8 million views, this dish takes a creative turn. Infused with Azfar’s culinary flair, the fried noodles are reinvented using ramyeon noodles, ensuring a satisfying experience of comfort food with a unique twist.
Bubur Kacang Hijau Kg Londang: Embraced as a cherished family dessert in Azfar’s hometown of Melaka, this recipe holds a special place in the hearts of the locals. It introduces a delightful twist by infusing the classic green bean soup with the rich flavour of durian.
Puding Karamel Fabulous: A pink rendition of caramel pudding, echoing Azfar’s unique style and creativity, promises a visually and gastronomically delightful experience.

In addition to Azfar’s creations, the Nostalgia Kampung Baru Buffet will feature other nostalgic specialties, including the signature Nasi Lemak Pintu Gerbang of Kampung Baru, a Shell Out station with mixed seafood in original and Kam Heong sauce. Elevating the culinary experience, the buffet will feature a live carving station for Kambing Bakar Berempah, live cooking of Roti Canai and Murtabak Ayam. Additionally, Ramadan bazaar favourites such as the Sate Station and Roti John will be available.
