  • Dried chilies – 5 pieces (soaked and blended).
  • Onion – 1 (chopped).
  • Garlic – 3 cloves (minced).
  • Lemongrass – 2 stalks (bruised).

  • Shrimp paste (belacan) – 1 teaspoon.
  • Tamarind slice – 1 piece.
  • Coconut milk – ½ cup.
  • Salt and sugar – To taste.

How to Cook Laksa:

  • First, heat oil in a wok. Sauté the onion, garlic, blended chilies, lemongrass, and shrimp paste until fragrant and the oil separates.
